Small Somatic Body Block – Ambrosia Maple | Somatic Craft™

Bring the warmth and grounding weight of solid hardwood to your bodywork practice. Handcrafted by Fenton River Woodworks, the Somatic Craft™ Small Body Block pairs distinctive Ambrosia Maple grain with a smooth surface for controlled pressure during somatic bodywork, fascia-release routines, and restorative movement.

Our signature Restorative Radius features a deep, 1.5-inch custom-carved edge designed to follow the body’s contours and soften contact along the edges during supported positions and longer holds.

Measuring 8 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 3 inches high, this compact block gives you room to adjust its placement for neck support and other bodywork positions. Unlike foam or cork, solid maple provides a firm, non-compressing surface with the substantial feel of natural hardwood.

Each block is hand-finished with natural oils for a smooth, satin touch. Made from solid hardwood with no veneers or fillers, it combines practical function with the character of a handcrafted wood piece.

Free personalized engraving is included, making your block distinctly yours or a thoughtful gift for someone who values handcrafted wellness tools.

Ambrosia Maple is known for its distinctive streaks and markings. Grain patterns, color, and markings vary naturally; the photo represents the product, not the exact block you’ll receive.
